I've put together a showcase of my favourite arcade flyers.
The reason for doing this is that I want to show my appreciation for the styles, thoughts, efforts, art and marketing that has gone into these flyers. They were obviously done with a goal to sell their products to patrons and operators but I value some of them as much as the games themselves.
When I look at a poster, the real value comes from when it was made (i.e. the technology at the time), who it was aimed at, what message it delivered and the general design it uses. I'm not going to break each one down individually but each one featured here has caught my eye in some way that I thought it worthy to feature on this list.
